Welcome!

Please use this website to check out our classroom procedures and what we're up to in class.

If a student is absent, the "Unit Information" tab will help students navigate to the page for each unit of the semester. These pages will hold notes and other assignments a student may catch up with online.

The "Classroom Documents" tab will provide students and parents/guardians with pertinent resources and information that will be used throughout the whole school year.

Meet Mrs. Ellis

I grew up in a small suburb outside of Portland and moved to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon. I graduated from U of O with a BA in History and earned my Masters and teaching degree fom Pacific University. Currently, I live in Veneta with my husband and two dogs.

In addition to World Studies I teach Leadership which advises the Siuslaw High School student government. Psychology is another course I teach to juniors and seniors. On top of my teaching duties, I also lead the school's PBIS team and coach track at Elmira High School.

Classroom Communication

The best way to reach me is via email at: eellis@siuslaw.k12.or.us

I will try to respond by the end of the day. Otherwise, if you'd like to leave me a voicemail, I can be reached at the high school at (541) 997-5479.

There are other resources we will use in the classroom to safely communicate with each other. One easy way is through "Remind 101." Please see the Classroom Documents page for further information.
